BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES CONSULTANT                 (June 2006 - Present)

Expert in sustainability including linking land-use and greenhouse gas reduction by developing policies and programs unique to a company, municipality, non-profit and faith-based organization or educational institution that addresses the integration of social equity, the economy and the environment in future decisions and actions.

MARIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
                  (August 2000 - May 2006)

Principal in charge of a team of County staff, extra-hire staff and consultants to conduct a variety of long-range planning and economic development activities, including the update to the Marin Countywide Plan, the first comprehensive general plan in the nation with the overarching theme of sustainability.

CITY OF CUPERTINO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY 
(November 1989 - August 2000)

Senior Planner conducting a variety of current- and long-range planning activities including a general plan amendment, specific plans, zoning ordinances and multi-jurisdictional planning programs.

RUTH AND GOING., INC
(July 1988 - November 1989)

Planner and Project Coordinator for a multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering, and planning firm helping property owners identify their highest and best use. Coordination of various disciplines to conduct the project design, complete CEQA documents, community outreach and public hearings.
